Advanced Laser Materials maintains extensive analytical capabilities on site. ALMs analytical services and skills are used to support our custom development projects and to ensure that materials shipped to our customers have been produced to high quality standards.
ALM capabilities include:
Digital Scanning Calorimetry for determining melting and cooling characteristics of polymers.
Particle Size Analysis laser diffraction equipment for analysis of powdered materials.
Melt Flow Indexing for determining flow characteristics of polymers and assessing thermal stability.
Mechanical Property Testing for measuring properties of parts produced from various polymer blends.
ALM also has the capability to conduct a range of other analytical studies using various controlled oven, high tolerance measurement, and conditioning equipment. Furthermore, ALM can conduct limited flame testing of polymer parts.
