This video demonstrates a 1 mm (0.040”) thick sintered burn test strip made from ALM’s FR-106 material undergoing a 60 second vertical burn test as proscribed by FAR 25 and BSS 7230. The test allows for up to a maximum of 6” of burned length with a maximum of 15 seconds allowed for self extinguishing of the burning material after a 60 second application of a standard methane gas flame.
